Arrived in SLC after an uneventful 300 miles. Weather is cold, cloudy, mid 40s and windy. The Golf cruises beautifully at 80 mph.....although the mileage seems to suffer a bit at that speed....only gets about 41mpg
. We are staying at the Little America Hotel right downtown - affordable luxury with a wonderful meal as well. We have stayed here before.....highly recommend! (The owner is the same guy who owns the Sun Valley Resort, and other properties). We'll be here all day tomorrow visiting sights heretofore unseen.
